One of my favorite ways to start the day is with a refreshing and nutritious smoothie. Here's a unique recipe that combines the sweetness of fruits with the heat of cayenne pepper. I call it the "Spicy Mango-Banana Bliss.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup leafy greens such as spinach or kale
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ginger (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to blender.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth.
  • Taste and add more cayenne if desired.
  • Enjoy!
