prepared according to directions

brewed black tea
use tea bags or loose tea leaves

oat milk
or any milk you prefer
ice cubes
Instructions
Prepare brown sugar syrup by combining an equal amount of brown sugar and water and cooking on low heat until syrup is thick like molasses.
Prepare tapioca pearls as directed on package. Spoon into bottom of 2 glasses.
Pour prepared brown sugar syrup over boba pearls and stir to combine.
Drag pearls up sides of glass to give tiger stripe look.
Add 2-3 ice cubes to each glass.
Pour half of tea into each glass, then half of the milk into each glass.
Enjoy immediately. The tiger stripe effect doesn't last long!
